Lost Without Metaphors: Animation

Learning Goal

The project goal was to explore metaphors and ask how might we better understand their relationships with UI interfaces. The result was a video showing how important choosing the right metaphor can be and an interactive museum that explores many layers of metaphors.

Learning Outcomes

If we think at all about how we use interfaces or even code, we can see the vast layers of metaphor that exist between us and the actual signals being passed. To communicate this, it was important for people to learn the step-by-step breakdown of the multi-layered metaphors around them
